If we are talking about every type AI and not just the common public well known ones, then with how ingrained it as been forced into everything we know that we use and everything we don’t realize we use, then we all would be in for a bad time.

If all AI were to suddenly vanish, many power grids would fail, much of agriculture/farming equipment would fail, hospitals would fail, communication outlets would stop working. So many systems use a variant of AI of some kind. It could take a long time for society to recover from it. Even people that refuse to use AI are still using it without realizing it.

Not saying AI is the solution or that people refusing to use it are wrong. What I am saying is that we should have protested and regulated it a long time ago. Unfortunately, Pandora’s box has been opened and there is no way a population could have known to protest it many years ago as it would have just sounded like a conspiracy theory or paranoia to many.

So, better late than never, we protest now and only hope we can somehow change the path we are all on going forward.

But, If we are just talking about the surface level AI, then yeah it would just be only a rough couple of days for many and upset billionaires.
