Reuters reports that around 100 people made it into the construction site, with some scaling a crane to place a “fuck AI” banner. Protesters also unfurled a “Microsoft powers genocide” banner on the construction site, and chanted “Microsoft has got to go” and “free Palestine.”
why not just burn it down or sabotage whatever’s been built?
Honestly the best thing you could do is probably ruin the cranes, they’re easy to fuck up permanently (and relatively ‘safely’), they’re super expensive and parts/replacements are generally years out, and once it starts happening no insurance agency will cover data center jobs.
