If bro had taken some boxing or self defense classes he could have hit a lot harder, punching is a skill and his form wastes effort.

On the other hand, skulls are tougher than your hands so punching someone in the face with full effort usually breaks your hand so maybe this was for the best.

    I’ve done time.

This is exactly what happens when a white boy mouths off like this. It’s immediately intense and righteous.

I am sorry, it’s not acceptable to commit violence over words that offend like that.

Not the least as every bully in the hood will falsely accuse their victims of using slurs.

These aren’t just words. This is a conservative bullying those around him. Conservatives are pure evil. They will initiate violence for no reason at all. Their violent, bigoted threats must be treated with quick, decisive action.

Conservatives have spent so many generations proudly initiating attacks on their victims that it becomes an imperative for their victims to nip that shit in the bud with force. The conservative should be grateful to have his valueless life spared in this case.

Clearly doing things “the right way” hasn’t fixed things for this person. These consequences likely don’t change their mind, but it does show others that it isn’t acceptable in society. People literally clapped. It shows anyone seeing this that a beating is the only thing society thinks racists should get.

The self defense rule is you need to have a reasonable fear of your imminent safety, and this wasn’t that.

That is why when someone insults us and we want to fight we goad them into giving us an excuse.

You wanting to make this ok is shortsighted, the next stand your ground that will be used against the people you are defending, in case you can’t see past your fucking outstretched hand, pal.

This reads of ‘violence is never the answer’. Perhaps one of the most nieve beliefs we teach our kids. As an adult you should know that violence is the last and worst answer, but sometimes it’s necessary. That young adult found out his words have consequences the hard way. Sorry, not sorry.

Wjy would we petition conservatives to allow us to stand up to conservatives? No thanks. The time for debating conservatives is over. The time for violent action is upon us.

With everything I said above in my opinion only the absolute minimum amount of violence is permitable. I’ll repeat: violence is the last and worst answer. As much as we are responsible for the consequences of our words, our actions are a whole magnitude more consequential and require a whole magnitude more consideration.

It’s the argument in the conversation of slavery and ethnic equity whether or not it’s okay to use the masters tools. The argument can be made for both sides but the middle argument is most intriguing. What if we use the masters tools to userp the master then put those tools down? What if we use violence to stomp out the global rise of authoritarianism and fasicm then set it aside? Just some food for thought.

Yeah the speaker. Look up fighting words doctrine. Words meant to incite violence or cause a breach of peace when uttered directly at an individual with intent to provoke, are not protected by the first amendment. The man made a death threat. What comes next is what his words asked for.

Interesting. The death treat was clearly not what provoked the attack so I would like to see how this plays out in court. Probably depends on the state.

“Your honor, the death threat definitely was the trigger. I was actively leaving the aggressive situation, but this person’s threats made me concerned to turn my back on him. It took me a moment to register the threat to my life. I knew that the only way to prevent my untimely demise at the hands of this aggressor was to ensure that this person thought twice about following through on his threat to my person. When he made the very clear statement that I would be “6 feet under” it can only be interpretted that there was a clear, present, and persistent threat to my person. His later utterance of the racial slur only pointed to the motive for his threats on my life, of which I can only presume to be hatred and bigotry.”

“So you’re saying that you were afraid that this drunk person sitting in a chair and not making any attempts to approach you will actually kill you right then and there even though you were in a place you can only access through metal detectors and scanners so he was clearly unarmed, you were surrounded by other people and with security nearby? And even though you felt there’s clear and present danger you wanted to leave until you realize what his motives were? Ok, noted…”.

I mean, it might work, who knows. Would be interesting to see how this plays out.

Maybe, but you might be surprised which one. These were clearly “fighting words.” The speaker is pretty clearly in the wrong legally.
