This guy should build his fortune on selling a product that only tracks government officials. I think we all can agree that public servants require citizen scrutiny.

why does it steal other sites’

Most news sites do this, it’s actually pretty much standard practice if you don’t have the primary scoop. Not saying I agree with the practice. Sometimes sites actually do additional work and add further information, that’s useful, but mostly it’s just “as reported on by xxxxx”

Except this one was ripped word for word from gadgetreview without crediting them while naming a different author.

TBF? I didn’t read this one, as I’d read another one yesterday. Guess my assumption made me an ass 😅

There’s a difference between citing another news agency and straight up copying the entire article without any changes or credit

Dunno, but OP posted only newsrepublic.co.uk articles until 7 months ago, then 1 week ago started to post only dailyadda articles.

Don’t know about you, but I’m gonna block this one lol

      I just noticed this too.

I don’t think OP is the only account, but it seems like bots trying to direct people to slop

Definitely a bot, their account was silent for 7 months then woke up to start posting exclusively crap from this site.

It’s the same account always posting their stuff too. Most likely an astroturfer.
