Wells Fargo has to get in on the grift now too.

Soon all large corporations will own a portion of what used to be government.

You’ll go to the Tesla™ DMV, then drop mail off at the Wells Fargo US Post Office. Go to the Amazon Court House to contest your illegal protest ticket issued by the McDonalds Police Department. If you win your case you get a free Big Mac.

Two things stuck out to me when I read this.

First, the proposal splits the parcel and the letter portions of USPS. The letter portion stays with the government.

Second, the proposal sells all USPS property.

The parcel portion of USPS is what allows them to “make” as much money as the do and the letter portion will still need at least most of the facilities to continue as well.

Following this will increase package shipping costs (the proposal acknowledges that) and will put an end to the letter portion of the service because they will be left without the revenue or facilities to contine.

Maybe we’re just missing the second part of the proposal… You know, the one where the letter portion takes over Wells Fargo and all of its properties, and fires off all the WF executive staff? Then we will be able to both do our banking with the USPS and also send a letter via the drop slot or ATM. All while getting rid of an evil mega-corp…
