Well, I prefer to have the choice between both. But I’ll take an ev that can charge in 10min over a gasoline car. It just has to be fast enough to not be annoying.
Where it becomes an issue is when there’s a line. When you’re 3 cars back in the line for a gas pump you’re still done in just a few minutes. With charging it can be an hour or more of waiting.
