Are launchers reasonably fast nowadays? I think the last time I put one on my phone was around 2014 and I removed it very quickly because the slight lags and delays at every corner really annoyed me. I’ve never used iOS, but I guess I could get used to it if it means not having excessive lag when using it haha

Interesting, that’s good to know! Is iodéOS significantly better than eOS or just a marginal improvement? Getting it pre-installed seems to be about 100€ more expensive, I’m not sure if that’s worth it for me (and I’m unwilling to flash an OS myself)

I’d say consider playing around with the React-App template on glitch.com! I’m biased because I do React for my main job, but it is pretty easy to use and if you grab a library like MaterialUI you get some really pretty looking components without having to do any HTML/CSS yourself

Should be pretty doable, even if you don’t have much JS knowledge yet. You might want to look into TamperMonkey for this, it’s a sort of framework for making custom browser plugins!

I tried to go to University for CS but never quite got the hang of the math part. Instead I got a Certification in Computer Science from an apprenticeship (idk if that’s the right Translation, in German we call it “Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung”) within 1.5 years and with extreme ease, because it was way less math-heavy and more focused on actual programming.

I stayed with the company that I did the apprenticeship with and got promoted from Junior to Regular within a year. I work exactly in the field and position I wanted to work in when I was going for the CS degree. In fact, I have the exact same responsibilities and the same pay as my colleagues with CS degrees. It might not be like that in every company, but it did work out for me.

Just for fun, I actually went back to Uni this semester to try and actually finish one or two math modules, but dropped out within 2 weeks because I was hopelessly incapable of even understanding the basic concepts lol

I’ve never been big on DC Movies, but I really liked Joker 2 as well.

Lady Gaga was the absolute perfect casting choice for Harley, and I absolutely loved how accurate the whole “very high highs, very low lows” dynamic of their relationship was.

Overall the movie was extremely disappointing, but in a way that is a realistic representation of what it actually feels like to be struggling mentally and being failed by the system again and again. I think that’s the point that people don’t get, because they go “I feel bad -> the movie was bad”.

I also dont find these threads full of people saying negative things about piracy, but thats a matter of perspective.

In my experience, people who are annoyingly judgmental about Piracy irl are not the ones using Text-heavy social media.
