I try to heavily prioritize GOG over Steam and while I have some streaming services in my orbit (not my choices) I always have ‘backup’ copies of my own.

It honestly depends. If it’s something I was on the fence about AND it’s not absurdly overpriced, probably just buy. Or put on a Steam wishlist for some future sale while I keep trying to find elsewhere.

I’ve been seeing a LOT of AI slop garden flags and a couple of holiday banners on garage doors. The most egregious of the latter was large enough to cover a 2 car garage door and featured an anthropomorphic scarecrow bending forward while holding onto it’s upper thighs. Both obviously slop due to the muddled cartoony nature and weirdly provocative.

Worse was going to a Christmas craft fair and seeing multiple vendors selling such slop. Nightmare Before Christmas flags that had a mostly consistent Jack, but the various Sally depictions ranged from mostly accurate to generic pretty goth girl that was vaguely made up to look like her.

Agreed on the first season. I enjoy the other hosts on the network, but enough of the roundtable of them on the current incarnation if ICHH are sort of meh.

I foolishly had dental work done in 2023. LONG overdue.

The tech doing my x-rays had an n95, full face shield and gloves. The idiot dentist starts poking in my mouth with NO gloves and is completely unmasked.

The 3 years of being hyper cautious, getting every damned booster and treating every stranger as a plague vector down the drain. Thankfully only a week of what felt like one of the worst bouts of influenza I’ve had.

Still getting yearly boosters, still masking and still assuming that every one I run into in public is on a holy crusade to spread mega measles or the like.

I never stopped. And I damn well won’t be anytime soon.

A large enough proportion of the populace has deemed it their God Given Right to infect anyone and everyone under the doctrine of “It’s Just the Flu, Bro”.

Despite the original double vax, and every suggested booster, I’m pretty sure I caught it from my dentist in July 2022. I was still wearing a mask everywhere at that point, with a KN95 in any situation where I’d be near people for extended situations.

I’ve had the flu 3 times in my life. This was as bad as the worst of them, with a completely lost week.

That said, I am hyper cautious around others and will still keep wearing my ‘please maintain your distance’ sign.

I realize all of that. I think it keeps people further away from me while out shopping, thus the psychological barrier helps more than any filtering.

I guess I’m not such a weirdo for still wearing a mask when going out.

Win 10 LTSB did cause some gaming related headaches, but I’ve had zero issues with LTSC 2021 to date.
