The charging documents, which were reviewed by MS NOW, show that the sailor has been accused of violating Article 83 for “malingering,” which is defined as a service member “intentionally faking an illness or hurting themselves to avoid work, duty or service,” and Article 86 for “absence without leave,” which means a service member failed to be at their required place of duty without proper authority.

      That was just one guy. It’s not like they all jumped off with him.

      Most of them knew they could just tough it out, and they were right, now they’re out of there and on their way home.

        there was that woman who was sexually assaulted too. and that’s just off the top of my head recently, it does seem like it’s some sort of shitty in there. they are having trouble selling this war to citizens and boots alike on top of that.

          I mean honestly I saw the toilets they were complaining about, and they didn’t look any worse than some toilets that I’ve seen in squats or something. I think just being stuck with thousands of people in a tin box must produce some kind of insane cabin fever.
