    Yes it’s possible with unfortunate circumstances. “Very easily die at 5 km/h” is demonstrably untrue, as though a significant amount of people that start up a bike die horribly. Yes bikes/mopeds/motorcycles are more dangerous than cars but it’s dumb to misrepresent reality like this.

    The second half of your statement demonstrates how the bikers are acting unsafely in the first place.

      My comment isn’t even really about motorcycles being extra dangerous. I ride every day that weather allows and have for over 30 years.

      It is more about how remarkably fragile some of our bodies’ weak points are. Perhaps I could have worded it better. But to me ‘easily die’ just means unexpected stuff can happen when putting a bike down at all. Not that there is necessarily a high likelihood of it happening at that speed, just that it is easy.
