Oracle stock is currently down 22% since the beginning of the year. The company has been spending heavily on data centers, and it recently became one of the major owners and security partners for TikTok’s U.S. operations.
Ellison has also used his wealth to back his son David’s acquisition of Warner Bros., which is currently being contested in court.
Not just spending heavily on data centers, but speculative spending on data centers. They are creating far more capacity than they have demand for. Nvidia is getting paid, but Oracle is going to be left holding the bag, especially as this idle hardware ages.

And of course its gonna happen during the winter when we can’t grow food ourself. I’ve been able to supplement my food all summer with my garden.
Even better than flour would be wheat berries (or rye, or whatever). Flour tends to go rancid pretty quickly, whereas the berries can store longer. Milling it just before use may not be practical for everyone, but your bread will be unbelievably better.

I made a batch of hard tack with flour. Theoretically it lasts forever if kept dry… good for survival rations.
That really only applies to whole wheat flour. Refined flour lasts basically forever.
