Revolut recently banned using GrapheneOS without any justification. They're falsely claiming to do be doing it for security reasons. In reality, they're enforcing licensing Google Play. Revolut doesn't enforce security standards. It runs on Android 9 with no patches since 2018.
I always like the random GrapheneOS/Daniel Micay populism Twitter posts with 0 in depth proof and just throwing around that … is bad.
Don’t get me wrong they have a point that hardware attestation is a shitshow.
But statements like “It includes a bunch of closed source third party libraries with privacy, security and compatibility issues. Several of these libraries supposedly exist to protect security but in fact create serious security weaknesses.” with 0 information what these libraries and issues are, are just unfounded accusations.
