I’ve always said that most middle management can be replaced by LLMs. And not even the more expensive models. Gemini flash would probably do about as good of a job as most middle managers.
Of course an LLM couldn’t do the job of a really good middle manager. But most middle management is basically doing basically what LLMs do, and hallucinate and get things wrong just as often.

We taught the AI to speak like a middle manager and thought that meant the AI was sentient, instead of realizing that the middle managers aren’t
