But I think this is more of a regulatory responsibility than an individual one. WhatsApp essentially functions like a social network, and even if someone wants to leave this shithole, it often comes with social consequences. Governments should step in to enforce cross-platform compatibility so that people can switch services without losing contact with family and friends.

But if it allows the extraction of the real identity of the user it’s probably a GDPR issue.
It wasn’t just the replacement of jobs but also a drop in quality. Same as we see with AI.
