I don’t see climate change talked about in the news much as a reason for not having children yet, antidotally, I’ve heard it a lot in person.

My dad gave me a choice between a pair of skates or a 10 year old used car when I turned 18 but I refused both and told him I wanted a brand new car. I ended up with a pair of skates. Getting to work was hard the next 4 years.

You’re assuming her completely condemning Isreal would help her win the election but I don’t think it’s as simple as that. There’s still a massive voting block of hard core Isreal supporters in the US.

Where I live fast food and a large chunk of sit-down food is the same price, excluding tip. I just order takeout now. Saves money and I always have leftovers.

My experience as well!! Maybe it’s not 100% accurate but it works well enough I can use it frustration free. Definitely hasn’t gotten worse. My only complaint is since the ios 17 update it randomly switches back to the default keyboard until you close and open the text box again but that’s not a predictive text problem.

I had a similar experience as well. I exclusively used android for over 10 years until I starting having to replace phones yearly, sometimes even more frequently. After I had to take my pixel 6 to the repair shop for the 4th time in under a year I bought an iPhone 14 and couldn’t be happier. Everything works so much more smoothly and it all just makes sense.

I felt the same way but ended up going with a volvo anyway because Chinese Investment or not, the company does at least try to make an effort to be more safe, ethical, and sustainable. Given the alternatives I made the decision that volvo was still the right car for me.

After exclusively using pixels for years, I used to be right there with you until I bought my pixel 6. My experience was so bad I’ll never buy another pixel again. Still sad about it but there are other things I’d rather waste my money on.
