I think “the price” is some sort of loss of prestige from it’s feeder schools and cultural capital after offering pro bono work to Trump. I know they lost a bunch of their top associates (really good ones too, apparently) but I heard from a friend who goes to Princeton that a lot of the law students didn’t even want to article there anymore. I’m assuming it’s the same for other big law schools, especially Harvard Law after Trump basically put a target on their backs.

I think OP meant use Safari with the Apple’s Privacy Relay thing that hides your IP and generalizes location data into a larger area, not just regular “private mode” that Safari has. Too bad it’s subscription only on iCloud+, and who knows if it actually works as well as Apple claims it does.

I’m already in the EU, so under the UK branch of the subsidiary. Theoretically, I would be immune to the algorithm manipulation from the US. In practice, who knows. The UK hasn’t really been pushing back against US Tech interferences.

With Twitter going down, TT was my next best option for finding niche artiste and fandoms. My algorithm on there was really good with showing me new artists and fandom creators to follow. Idk where I’m gonna go now.
