I’m not sure. Might be worth the $5 to find out if you’re in the US

I’m not sure. Might be worth the $5 to find out if you’re in the US
Yeah, more than double what I got for my year old 7 pro.
I tell myself I do the upgrades for the camera improvements since I take a lot of pictures of my daughter.
For 6 to 7 the biggest reason was the awful modem and I had trouble with phone calls. I was dating at the time and it was awful to have women tell me they couldn’t hear me over the phone. The phone also overheated a lot.
If I were you I’d go with the 7. The modem wasn’t perfect but it was a lot better.
For 7 to 8 it was the improved wide angle camera.
For 8 to 9 it’s the improved selfie camera, improved camera zoom performance, battery life, and because it was so cheap.
No. Knock on wood but I’m generally pretty careful with my phones and have had good experiences with support when they need a warranty replacement.
I actually signed up for Play Pass to get the automatic update to gold, which triggered the 30% off. Best $5 I ever spent haha

With products like these you’re paying for convenience
I like the product, but Interesting that they’re selling access to retro games. Seems risky.
My spare is still my 3XL. It would be rough. You could always pick up an a series if you need a phone quickly
Wow that pricing is rough. They usually knock $200 off the price of pixels pretty quickly, and not just on Black Friday. They also f around with the trade in pricing which I think is a bad look, especially for their own products.

I have a Garmin venu 3, it’s positioned as the most smart watch / lifestyle focused of the Garmin lineup. I like it for measuring sleep, body battery, steps, playing golf, and reading notifications without pulling out my phone. The gentle reminders to get steps in for the day, weekly active minutes, and sleep quality have genuinely improved my health.
That said it annoys me that they offer no OS or feature upgrades throughout the life of the watch. They do some bug fixes but that’s it.
Interestingly, focus states are used in accessibility. So while this code isn’t to cure cancer, it likely does improve the lives of those with different needs.
Yeah I remember there being a way to use a local IDE but no way to do a local development environment.
How does it compare to the developer experience of Shopify? I hated Shopify. Unforgivable that there wasn’t even a way to have a dev environment, but this was a few years ago.
This is honeypot security and is a best practice

We’re in a similar spot! I had the same question and unfortunately I don’t know, I’ve only seen one update come through Immich since I’ve had it and it was non-breaking. Tipi just said “check the release notes before updating” – I clicked the “update” button in Tipi and Immich magically updated. My plan if there are more breaking updates is to check out the Tipi Discord and ask there.
Thanks! I set it up last night after getting advice here!
See the other comment chain, looks like you can still get the 30% off deal by signing up for Play Pass.
