Penis for a flipper AI penguin. Nice.
Counterpoint: not concerning at all
Yeah. 11th gen Framework 13, so one of the first ones. Since I got it I had to use Windows exclusively because of some client work, and battery life was pitiful. 2-3 hours perhaps? Once that project finished I swapped out the SSD and put on Ubuntu with KDE. I was expecting the batter life to be worse, but it is demonstrably better. I now get more like 6 hours, albeit with my power plan on efficiency.
Switching from Windows to Linux on my Framework laptop makes my battery last 2-3 times as long. They should just have a switch to Linux recommendation to reduce your carbon footprint.
“These counterfeit phones, Cohen said, were either out of warranty or contained counterfeit parts, but Apple “wrongly” believed that they were real phones under real warranties”
So not counterfeit. Just real iPhones that were out of warranty or has been repaired by a third party.
I just went cold turkey because I can’t/won’t watch content with ads, and already felt the cost of our streaming services was too much for what we get out of it.
What I’ve found myself doing is if I do buy from Amazon and it’s below the free shipping amount, I try and buy from a marketplace seller who ships themselves for free. Often this ends up matching the Prime price, but it’s buried further down the result because it doesn’t have Prime shipping. Or I buy the same product via eBay, which is mostly cheaper. But main thing is, I’ve found I just buy less. Like A LOT less. As a family we’d often get 3 or 4 Amazon deliveries a week. That’s not been replaced with orders from other retailers. It’s almost as if having Prime encourages you to buy stuff you maybe don’t need!
We are halfway through it!
I unsubscribed in January and still have too much stuff to watch. Although that is helped by being in the UK and having iPlayer I guess. I’ve also spent way less on impulse buying crap because of the free shipping. Absolutely do not miss Prime.
I’ve recently switched from Windows to Linux and generally I’m using Lazygit on the terminal or SourceGit on the desktop. SourceGit is by and large a very similar UI to Sourcetree but faster (and open source / cross platfrom)
Given that this person is being prosecuted for holding up this billboard in public, perhaps the newspaper is erring on the side of caution by not reprinting it!
This is reprehensible, and it’s absolutely right that she is held to account. However, at the same time there are a metric shit ton of politicians in the UK who regularly incite racial hatred for the express purpose of winning votes. Not to mention newspapers. When are we going to deal with them?
Correct. Avocado ≠ Onion
This is exactly what I do too!
Personally, I don’t expose the port externally, so I’m not sharing photos via Immich right now. I host locally and it is on a proper domain with a lets encrypt certificate, and I use Gandi Live DNS to update the dynamic IP, but my DDWRT router is set up to only allow access from internal IP addresses and my current WAN IP. It does work externally, but like you I am bit vary of it. That doesn’t just apply to immich. I do the same with my Next Cloud.
Immich is great. I very much recommend it as a replacement for Google photos.
Let me guess. These are the same people who refuse vaccines with miniscule mortality rates, but are demanding milk infected with a virus that has more than a 50% mortality rate in humans? 🤔
Also, how is intentional getting infected to aquire immunity better than doing nothing at all? I mean, just don’t worry about it. If you get infected then you’re either dead or immune, and if you don’t get infected you didn’t need that immunity anyway. Plus, you’ve saved money by not buying your weirdo raw cow juice.
Reddit is Fun is not Reddit.
Is this an AI written story? At different points in the article it says in the UK, or Sacramento, or Delhi 🤔
I don’t use Fedora so I’m going to be one of those annoying people and not answer your question. However, I found the official UI to be awful and glitchy on Linux. I use Ubuntu with KDE Plasma and imported a few different Proton OpenVPN country configs into network manager and they work great. It’s possible to import wireguard config also, but IIRC there was a bit of fiddling with that.
