Oh, so Residential never switch, got it.

Oh, so Residential never switch, got it.

It is plausible, but since they claimed it, then I have to assume it is lie.
Or they’re embarrassed and appreciative, because the old old (but still critical) Cobol guy is doing it for the first time, and you become friends.

That’s one of its jobs

For what it’s worth Xrdp seems to work well on Linux
Even on Wayland?

It shows deleted

Also, the content is statically-generated only, I guess? No server-side rendering? No POSTing, etc? Or…is this creating some cache based on a real server it contacts…?

What to use instead

It must be some sort of base pessimism thing. My automatic assumption was that it was benevolent and intentional.

Well, millions of morons are still buying their shit (including power products and services), and investors are super pleased, and Elon and other execs are making out like bandits. And there’s no sign of that changing dramatically.
So pretty well, as far as they’re concerned.

Sadly, lots of fucking morons are still buying their shit.
Fewer, but lots.

OK, but currently it’s at least in the (relatively) good phase of the cycle

Well because why would someone look at Lemmy as a TikTok replacement

So, better than TikTok?

Actually I always thought it was insane that they DIDN’T try the same insane plan more than once.
Like, half the time Cobra’s crazy plan ALMOST worked. But either luck or some fixable hole in the plan stopped it. But if they just tried it again but just learn from the failure, address the problems they hit, and try again. Maybe even a third time.
But no, they’d always just try some other totally insane plan instead. Every time.
In this case they’re trying stuff that has, in some cases, worked.
I don’t think they’re shooting for Germany 1938. They’re shooting closer to Putin’s Russia. One of many “successful” totalitarian takeovers.

They won’t.

Isn’t this a tenet of Buddhism?

If you’re being tested on how well you understand something, using AI during an exam isn’t going to help you much unless it’s something that could be understood very quickly.
What? Why not?

It won’t work without internet connection.
I’m not running fucking vim for software development
