I visit many of the game shops in my area to try to find TTRPG’s and players, but all I find is Magic players and they will talk about the game in length.

You are right that I shouldn’t blame the format. I will blame Wizards for pushing it so hard it’s pretty much the only way to play the game right now.
I get what you are saying about what I said with Standard. It is that Wizards focuses too much on Commander, and some of these tie-in could have awesome CCG on their own, like Fallout. I think Fallout could stand to have an awesome CCG that would sell pretty amazingly. Regarding Standard, yes the format still exists, but the way sets are released it feels like it’s only there for the old players like me.
I used Plex a while ago and didn’t like how I had to look for my folders against the stuff they offered. And the upside of being able to get my stuff from a server install on another network had me wondering if they were looking at the movies I had to pirate. Once I installed jellyfin, I didn’t have to worry. My only issue is if I want to use it on vacation, I have to do some vps hack-jiggery.
If I’m doing it, I have prisoners. If you do it, you have hostages.
I’ve actually started using Docker/Podman in my own environment, but I’m curious how you use it to develop AWS services with it.
These people have always been bad. Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, Ford, all of them had their issues. The big difference between then and now is the information we have access to. These leaders are more or less forced to live a very public life. We can find all sorts of articles and investigative journalism reports about Elon actually having family money. And when you are rich enough to control the few newspapers, the stories are going to put you in a very good light.
My honest recommendation is dd It works, it does it’s job, and doesn’t need to many bells and whistles. My only complaint is that there isn’t an easy way to show progress. But as a background command, it works.
Who else should pay them?
I used to joke with my niece that my programming job was just me staring at screens and meetings all day. She didn’t believe me until she got to shadow me one day and got super bored.
I used to root my phone and then could use the hotspot without my provider knowing.
Yeah. After that storyline, v everyone started calling the real show that.

Check out Tailscale. They have 20 machine limit on the free plan. It runs on wireguard and is pretty secure.
My daily driver is Sway on Arch. I’ll help shout out the glory of this setup.
If the config file is well documented, you don’t need to worry too much about that bus. And it isn’t several user accounts, it’s a computer that needs to be accessible to nearly everybody. Like said in other comments, a script to destroy everything on logout, and then add a configuration to logout on idle.
I don’t have a problem with competitive sports and such, but I do wish that it wasn’t such a large part of our collective culture. I don’t follow sports, and especially American Football. I have blue hair and last year nearly everyone was asking if I did it for the Detroit Lions. People who knew I had it for two years previous were asking me. Strangers in the store. I see ads for sports adjacent things when I don’t go to the websites like that or watch the games. Tired of seeing it everywhere.
