I think it’s safe to say that, at this point, most people know that their information is being sucked up. But very few care at all. Some of the people I’ve spoken with are actually in favor of being tracked because they find it beneficial and they want better ads. No, refusing to vote for Harris is not, in fact, a vote for Trump. That’s not how voting works and you are a literal baby if you think not voting for a specific candidate is inherently a vote for another.

A third party vote is the same as not voting. Not voting in a presidential election means you don’t care who wins. I’ll give you that. However, you seem to be someone who does care about the outcome of the election and is in support of minimizing conflict in the Middle East. If that’s the case, Trump has informed us that he intends to destroy the region by permitting Netanyahu to eliminate the Palestinians. So, by not voting, you are choosing to not let your voice be heard in the matter.

By not voting for the viable candidate that most aligns with your philosophies, you are increasing the risk of the other candidate’s victory.

You can be opposed to Israel’s excessive use of force while still supporting the Biden administration’s actions. I’m not happy about all of Biden’s actions. I believe he should be standing more firm about his support but I’m not in the room during these negotiations. I don’t have access to classified CIA documents. What we do know is that Iran is an active threat to the United States and other countries and, without Israel as an ally, the world would be under grave threat of international war.

That is a lie. The United States supports Israel because of its position in the region. To defend democracy and economies in the region, the US has to negotiate with the Israel terrorist state. Trump doesn’t give a shit about anyone in the region and has fully supported Netanyahu’s genocide. The current conflict is largely due to Trump’s actions as president and Biden’s inaction as president.

This is what the people who forgot about Donald Trump say. Trump’s presidency was far more rewarding for Israel than either Russia or North Korea; arguably, even more rewarding than the US. This conflict wouldn’t have existed without Trump’s aid in the first place. If you think Biden or Harris are friends with Netanyahu, you are sorely mistaken.

I’m voting for the person I trust to make a half a promising decision for calmness in the Middle East rather than the one who’s guaranteed to gladly trade the lives of Palestinians and Americans in exchange for authoritarianism. And if the person I choose to vote for (wins and) doesn’t live up to my expectations, if this person does not aid in Middle East tensions, I’ll still sleep well at night knowing how much more traumatic it would have been with the alternative.

I give a shit about this world. I will not be part of the downfall of democracy and the promise of more lives lost and freedoms around this world revoked for the sake of someone’s ego and business dealings. I will not throw out my vote.

I’m voting for Harris because I support a free Palestine. Because under Trump, Palestine is guaranteed to disappear.
