Most people don’t know. Of the people that know, most don’t care. Of the people that care, most don’t act. Of the people that act, most fail. Of the people that fail, most don’t learn. Those that do, Those very few, Succeed.
Yes you can. I do. If a software does not offer build instructions, which is rare, I just do not use it.
Newsweek is a tabloid.
Not using Ventoy in 2025?
But we’re not talking about rolling or cutting edge distros. MX is based on Debian Stable. Also last time I checked (about a month ago) MX Linux does support Flatpak. Also also, you can enable systemd if you want, but seeing as we’re talking about a distro for complete beginners, I don’t think they’re going to notice, know, or care. Also also also, I really don’t care enough about this to drag it out into some protracted argument.
Download ventoy, slap a few distros on a usb stick, try them, use what you like.
No software worth its salt offers only flatpak installation. I don’t use flatpak at all and Blender works flawlessly. I’m not sure what a flatpak version could possibly do any better than the version I use.
Check fmhy. They have a section.
Why use Mint when Mx exists.
shutting out a significant portion of your community without seeking their input first isn’t a sensible move for such a foundational open source project.
It actually is a perfectly sensible move, and it doesn’t “shut out” anyone. If anything, prioritizing twitter is what shuts users out. They linked to two-three alternatives. What’s the argument here, exactly, from the other side?
bad bot
Last I checked Loops required users to completely sign away every imaginable right to the content they posted. Unless that’s changed I’m not too thrilled with them.
More bluesy ads?
I don’t want to alarm you but it sounds like someone has been trying to fence you in.
Kill it.
I didn’t even get an e-mail. I found out when I went to save an article as usual and there was a little banner at the top of the page.
At least they’ve extended the migration period until November 30.
