I’ve had one friend say because it’s electronic that only Tesla can fix certain things? Maybe I misunderstood maybe they meant that because it’s under warranty where the dealership should be fixing it.

Compatibility is one thing and a heck of a important one.

The software and interface is great too. It’s not perfect at all. However, the fact that the power button suspends and resumes my games and I can just select from a menu and stuff. It’s a big deal. Like, I’m a programmer but I get tired at the end of a work day and just want to play some games without fiddling too much sometimes.

I bought so many indie games over the years that I felt like was not enough for my desktop. I know that sounds stupid but I’d want to play high end games on my desktop or maybe mouse and keyboard games rather than any controller.

After getting a steam deck I plowed through that list and they were amazing. I got the dock and have a controller too.

I loved my Switch but I gave that to my nephews … The Steam Deck requires a bit more configuration which makes it perfect for me.

I used to work for one the biggest in the UK. A lot of the new legislation at the time destroyed us. Deservingly so.

I felt our company wasn’t the worse because we were upfront about what we would charge but we had a lot of sister companies that would have a lot of hidden charges and the execs loved those. Well, guess what, legislation hit us hard because all those others wouldn’t be compliant.

Personally, I hated payday loans and I think they’re horrible, but I worked at Barclays too. An interview I had with a team there was basically working on “cheating” taxes. So like, it’s not much better for society in my opinion either.

I’m a software engineer and you got any sources for this? We use ChatGPT and Copilot and stuff and it helps but it doesn’t seem as dire as what you’re saying from what I can see? At least not yet.
