1·1 month agoI bought a high end Samsung specifically for the 7 years update. I got tired of buying low end phones that got slow and outdated every 2-3 years. Hopefully 7 years form now there will be a better alternative.

If you can’t selfhost, then you can have your keepass file in your personal cloud. Many basic cloud services are free and the password file itself is encrypted so the cloud provider can’t access your passwords.

6·9 months agoI’ve managed to screw up every self-hosted service whenever I’ve made an update, edit a config file or just by looking at it. But my Prosody XMPP server? It’s rock solid. That thing never fails, for years and years.

Raspberry Pi Zero 2. It maxes out at 15W, and runs at 0.5W idle.
If it can’t run on a Zero, I don’t want it.
