what would you serve on this plate
A piece of paper with only a heading: “Insert lobby request here:”
And a footer: “Your business is important to us, thanks for supporting Democracy™”
Did I understand correctly that this is only going to be in the iPhone 15 pro? Because that’s a lot more expensive than a pixel, more than I’d ever spend on a phone tbh.
Does it? Have you tried it?
Yeah, I’ve noticed this too. It’s just been much easier to tell people through the steps they need to change their devices, when I know what software they’re using. Adding another variable, like the browser itself (eg. One browser just straight up doesn’t see a camera/mic as an available device), is something I can do without.
The common denominator is always MS, for me. Teams and Skype are worse than zoom, for example. But when you’re already tapped in 365, paying for another service on top is an insult to injury.
I use Skype for my meetings, as well as teams. They’re both awful in different ways.
It’s difficult for me to find a (free) software that clients can install and be device/OS agnostic.
Using browser based calling services has proved to be a real challenge with non tech-literate people. The amount of wasted time on, “oh my mic/cam was working yesterday” type situations.
Yes, that’s right. Of course, ms shipped a device with drivers for its own hardware.
But most devices I plugged in, that needed drivers, had problems installing.
Most importantly, my soundcard. But also my graphics tablet.
One of the biggest problems I had with windows on ARM was drivers. Most of my devices that needed drivers didn’t have an arm compatible version available. This needs to change more urgently than simply being able to run software, for me, at least.
“But where did the lighter fluid come from?”
Not having a job, place to live, or an inhabitable planet in the near future is causing a mental health crisis.
Yes, you do. It’s not cheap, either.
I know its got its fair share of problems, but I always had a much better experience selling basically anything on ebay than FB marketplace or gumtree. There’s just something about these free classified ads that seems to attract people that take the piss.
Now that I’m out of the UK, I miss even having those, though. In some European countries the idea of buying/selling uesd things just doesnt seem to have caught on at all.
I honestly can’t believe that using this word unironically has caught on. Everything I think is just a stupid joke on the internet turns out to be the internet reflecting just how idiotic humanity really is.
Either that, or just an unpleasant shock at just how ‘mask-off’ some people have become.
Does the calendar taskbar flyout count as a hidden feature? Perhaps it would be more useful to leak a tool that can disable windows features. Ads, internet-spam, gutter-news, etc.
But mainly I just want the calendar agenda back in the taskbar.
Haha, “task failed successfully”?
Thanks for your input, but I don’t appreciate your condescension, and presuming my motives for deleting my data.
I can see where you’re coming from, but I have no intention of raising awareness, or converting people into Lemmings. I deleted my data from reddit because the API issue represented the final straw, their actions and behaviour being totally misaligned with a company that I’m comfortable providing value to. And my posts, at least to some extent, were providing value to their business.
So I didn’t like the >just because you wanted to feel good about yourself sticking it to spez, or just because you blindly followed the manic sheeple who advised you to do so>, it feels like an unnecessary barb. But good luck with your efforts.
Thanks for posting this, it’s something I’ve been looking for. Incidentally, what happened with vlemmy? Somehow, I havent seen anything about it.
and the dumb kids, unfortunately. I did a spot with some non-US teenagers, in a class recently. The topic was “name a person you admire and why”. Guess whose filthy name came up…
