And I thought she was awesome when she refused to smile to Scummo.

No, it’s not worth thinking about. There are many videos of nazis starting the salute with the arm bent across the chest. They may not be putting their hand over their heart but
It doesn’t matter, because it’s still a fucking nazi salute, and
Elon needed to so his bullshit line “my heart goes out to you” might, just might, provide an excuse when he’s inevitably questioned about this.
Let’s not split hairs here. Next you’ll be saying his arm wasn’t at exactly 35° so it couldn’t possibly be a nazi salute. Or during the second one behind him his hand was tilted slightly instead of going straight. If you can’t see it for what it is you’re in fantasy land.
Yep. Sky news is Australia’s version of Fox news, so don’t be too surprised. At this point there could be video of Elon chomping on a dead baby and they would still be saying “let’s not take this out of context”, “this is not what it looks like” and “what about that one time Biden ate something?”. It’s pathetic, but enough people unfortunately watch this crap.
I’m sure it will get hit with the enshitification hammer soon enough…
I’m happy to be corrected, but my understanding is this all stems from a MegaLag video published a month ago. There would be no need for LegalEagle to republish all the claims and it understandably takes some time to file suit. In short, the info was already out there for everyone to see.
I’d suggest they know growth of the platforms is waning, if not going backwards, but if they create a heap of bots and call them “active users” then the share price won’t go down. That’s the only reason I can think of.
Got it. It’s more to do with the case of an off-site backup in-case-your-house-burns-down scenario. Thanks.
RAID is not a backup anyhow
Can you expand on that? I have a 2-bay NAS with a RAID 1 (disk mirroring) set up precisely because I thought if one disk fails I have a backup. Is that not how it works?
As a non-capitalist the very concept of “this would save a lot of lives, but it costs too much” is extremely off-putting. I know it’s the world we live in, and obviously this argument can be taken to a ridiculous extreme, but building a solid wall is clearly not the answer. As soon as designers/engineers start putting a price on a life we’re into pretty shitty territory.
They have a concept of quitting.
And if Battlefield were still worth playing I’d give a shit. It has been well over 12 years since I got excited about a Battlefield game.
Relevant, for those interested in the history of grep. Computerphile
Or more noticably all the southern hemisphere penguins
Catan was my gateway game 25 years ago, and I really liked the Cities and Knights expansion as it felt like a logical progression. After that I lost interest in all the variations that came out. I still have the first two on my shelf and play them occasionally though.
That’ll be Margot Thatcher
No, no, no, it’s not Elon who’s out of touch. It’s the advertisers who are wrong! Just wait until all of Earth, apparently, hears of how these big mean advertisers killed the wondrous and righteous place named X. There will be outrage!.. so thinks Elon anyway. What a deluded moron.
Well… they used to at least :(
Yep, in 1975. We’ve been a bit of a puppet ever since.
They’re well aware. Famous Australians like Russell Crowe and Phar Lap would back up this claim.
But not if they’re the ones doing the illegal stuff, apparently.
