Sensors are cheap and have been around for a long time, but I’m going to guess the number one reason is the small part. Fewer cars = less traffic.
I’ve actually watched a city I visit regularly grow over about 20 years and it went from them having zero traffic to Los Angeles style traffic jams. This is despite their best efforts like making extra wide roads, using roundabouts, etc.

Can confirm. Had to buy a Pacifica because I needed a wheelchair accessible minivan and only Pacifica offered the features I wanted. Absolute piece of shit of a car. I don’t think I ever regretted any purchase as much. I would 100% compromise on the features I wanted had I known how much this car sucks. I’m talking about a brand new 2024, very well equipped car. Some of this is personal preference, but I thought they were absolute trash. I basically got them for free after credits when I picked up my new pixel and I ended up returning them anyway and spending credits on random accessories. They do not sit well in my ears, I hated the weird noise cancelation that actually makes you disoriented without really canceling noise and the sound is poorly calibrated no matter what I tried listening to.
I just picked up SoundCore Liberty 4 Pros for $100 and they check every box. So comfortable I forget I have them in my ears. Noise cancelation is superb. Tested in data center and on airplane. Sound quality is subjective, but I love it. New charging case shows battery level for each side and allows adjusting NC level without having to use the app.

I couldn’t even find a place to do it. Only config for display scaling applied or to all monitors. And it requires a restart of kde every time. So either large external screen became unusable or the small laptop screen.
I haven’t used Xorg in years. All my problems are in Wayland.
Great, now please fix per monitor scaling. 4k laptops are unusable when connected to large 4k screens. I need no scaling on large external screen and about 175% on laptop’s 16".
It did not. I think you and OP are feeling this based on anecdotal/singular experience. I can get any old movie I want and am able to download all the latest stuff very quickly using two private trackers. Been on one of them for over a decade and the other one is TL and I hardly ever use TL. 90/10 ratio.
I use the same combo on my phone without any issues or ads. Why use a client on the phone?

It really isn’t unless they changed since we used it 5 years ago. It just had a microphone and went through several levels of rocking based on how much sound mics picked up. It worked whether it was connected or not. Internet was just for notifications. Your baby screaming is usually a pretty clear notification.

Pipewire works well enough for sharing screen even though it isn’t well supported by shit software like Slack. Would this replace it?
I was lucky enough to get a free m1. That thing uses 10w or so when you remove the stupidity and install Linux on it. But even if you have to buy a Pi - it’ll pay for itself in a few months of not paying for streaming service.

I don’t think that exists. I’m also looking for a cheap way to save my Skype number now that MS is shutting it down and can’t find anything cheaper than $8/mo or so.
I can’t even transfer it to Google voice directly because it is treated as VOIP number so I have to transfer it to a real phone first and then to Google voice. Not sure if it’ll work for SMS verifications after that.
