At this point, money isnt even real. I have been involved in soooo many data breaches at this point, from medical and financial institutions, that i dont see how they could even hold me accountable for any new debts since my identity is now basically less meaningful than dog shit and anyone could probably open new accounts with my data at any moment.

Since i saw this coming, and my phone was losing updates this year, i pulled the trigger on a Titan Pocket (unihertz). I love the physical keyboard, and the look of it has already gotten some excited comments from people my age lol. The repairability is the best part tho

I just downloaded firefox focus, and etsy wont let me log in with it because it has adblocking. even to track a shipment. They even stopped putting the tracking number in the shipment email so i cant go directly to usps. Im sick of being railroaded into giving up my privacy.

I use control panel enough that i would be seriously pissed if they removed it. Why is it considered bloat?

oh i know but college shouldn’t be the default. i work in elementary and they have college posters up in the halls.

learning a trade should be more encouraged, you can make a shit ton of money (relatively) without the debt

Walmart doesn’t let you use contactless pay unless you use their app. several times now I’ve gone there to grab a few things, not realizing i didn’t have my card with me, and had to leave a full cart behind because i will not install their adware.

it blows my mind that people buy ebooks when Libby is free.

i looked into those myself. it’s worth knowing that they’re several Android updates behind, so the devices could be less secure.

you can get wider ones but mine are standard so they would clog probably, i got my first set here and they have extra wide ones. but now i just grab a set if i see them at Aldi or Ross.

they are dishwasher safe :)

i use them pretty much exclusively but i have a collection of glass ones i reuse. i have a weird thing about drinking from an open cup so i always have a lid/straw.
