That was a McDonnell Douglas plane, and now both fedex and ups have grounded their entire fleet of them.

Two things can be bad at the same time.

This is such a good idea, and good execution!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but does your day job involve working with a bunch of “microservices”?

Yea I’ve been hearing that one since 2003 with my original Prius. That battery lasted 23 years before it crapped out, and modern battery tech is waaaaay better than that thing. Also it wouldn’t have been that much money to refurbish the battery if it hadn’t been too smashed up to bother.

Just have the marketing department call them “Full Self Sticking” and then they literally can’t lose grip.

He was trying to say that he spent too much time in a media bubble disconnected from reality.

Seriously that was so obnoxious. “We’re making a bunch of unnecessary work for you, please give us hundreds of dollars now so we can stalk you better.”

I bought it before it was Google. They bought it out from under me and then, predictably, discontinued it while it was still working fine.

Just be veeeery careful about reflective surfaces so you don’t hurt other innocent people. Make sure you wear laser glasses that you bought from a real reputable place, Amazon and the likes are full to the brim with counterfeits that don’t protect you from anything.

They just redefined “speedy” to be several years.

Was the video in the article for you? I couldn’t find it.

Sure, but the scientists doing those kinds of workflows don’t have anywhere near the money to burn on GPUs. Even before they had all of their funding cut off for being to gay or brown or whatever crap the Nazis have come up with.

Ubiquiti equipment is the antithesis of local self hosting. You are required to sign in using their servers, and they require you to use a second factor email confirmation every time you want to access your local equipment. Since you can’t sign into your local equipment without an internet connection you can’t firewall the ubiquiti devices and they can report whatever “telemetry” data they feel like.

It was miles ahead of the other one because it wasn’t full of stupid ads. That was its one feature. Was.

I uninstalled it when it told me to turn left at the Wendy’s™ instead of a fucking street name. After I missed my turn and got to my destination late, I looked it up and the place it was talking about was visually obscured by another building so I couldn’t have possibly known where to turn. Fuck that noise.
Got any examples? Because I have…some…examples of password reuse being a real-life problem.
