I concur with your diagnosis. I can’t seem to recall to correct incantation that soothes the pixies’ pain, though. You don’t happen to have the book Raspberries - a Pixie’s Perspective at hand?
Fëanor was a douchebag.

EDIT: Pasted wrong link to power supply. Corrected!
Never thought I’d hear “coil whine” in any other context than GPUs. 😅 Also, “metal fatigue” was a new concept to me, which anthropomorphizes the Pi to such an extent that I feel bad for it. But I’m hypersensitive.
I am running one USB-A to Ethernet dongle off of one of the USB 3 ports, nothing else. I just checked the LEDs on the dongle, the Pi’s Ethernet port and on my switch that ties a lot of other stuff together before it all goes to my ISP’s fiber box (forgot the official name), and they are flashing with that rhythm that usually indicate Gbps speeds.
The power supply is a 5V one: https://us.rs-online.com/product/okdo/2012167/72127392/
Tomorrow, I’ll actually open up the chassi to check the board for defects.
Thank you very much for your reply! 🙂

I have not. I’ll do it first thing in the morning. Thanks! 💯

Ask it to define a variable called i of the type int. Then tell it that the value of i is 1. Finally, instruct it to increase the value of i for as long as the value of i is not 0. Optionally, ask it to read it out loud.
The only time dickpics are okay.

So that’s how I can get away with it! You just eradicated every last hints of remorse that I had in me.

That smiley at the end. I laughed. 😂

It was right there.

Can’t wait for the RFC on the new UDP too. Wonder what - if any - new features it comes with. 🥹🩵

Hah! Nice catch! Thanks! 🥰

Well, don’t I have egg on my face.

Quite fear mongering and not very educative. Throws around a lot of terms whose meanings are not explained, nor are there links to further descriptions. This doesn’t help people who need to know about this stuff. If you already know about this stuff, it doesn’t really add any value.

Everything everybody else has already said. Also, check out my previous post.
Keep in mind: no port forwarding, wireguard only
I have only every used Mullvad. Never looked back. Have their app on my parents’ computers and my phone. Also running an OpenWRT router bound to one of their servers.

I think (pray) that the devs are not Japanese. /j

Thanks! I’ll look that up!

Thank you for the recommendations!

I agree. People that lack the technical expertise or rooting compatible devices shouldn’t be forced to even consider this. Once you have paid for a device, you should be allowed to do with it whatever the hell you want, without Google or other big tech shoving unsolicited policies down your throat.

You’re right. At the very least, users shouldn’t be forced to make this choice. It’s absurd how little authority we have over devices we have paid for with our hard earned money. :(

Are there people who are angry out of principle/ideologically but who don’t do sideloading etc? Because, I’d like to think that if you are angry enough at this, then you have the incentive and the will to root you phone (making it an unsupported device and making it NOT locked for sideloading) and go on with your life. I wish Google died like… Yesterday. Don’t get me wrong. Am I missing something?
I’ll check it out as soon as I wake up! Thanks! 😊
