I love living vicariously. I feel this whole situation, and I barely ever did more then the (bare bones) intro to AMOS, or or hello world on c64 basic, but Lemmy and the hard R site (before the API mess) memes make me feel the situations at hand, even with very minimal understanding of coding.
Back when I was on both what.cd and waffles, the free leech periods were great. I discovered a few artists I really enjoyed after. Months after even. Bored, going through gigs of tunes browsing, a few just hit. Even found myself interested in genres I ‘wasn’t into’.
I haven’t heard of this one, do you know the advantages vs other clients off the top of your head? I used to use u, then q, but haven’t fired up a client in quite some time, so was trying to figure out some good ones for when I need to hoist the flag
Q is what I had used, mostly because it was lightweight and portable. I don’t torrent like I used to 20 years ago, but it’s good to know what to use if I decide need to.

Like 30 years ago my grandma used to host a family reunion in July, and we always called it Christmas in July. And then my grocery store had like 3 shopping carts of Christmas decorations labeled Christmas in July, but it was all old crap they wanted to move. What are companies trying to advertise with this that you have seen? Just curious, I don’t see many ads honestly.
