what makes it more usable than just having moonlight?
what makes it more usable than just having moonlight?
I’ve been playing it by streaming from my home PC using moonlight. runs well and the battery lasts a long time. still have the issue of trying to play helldivers with controller, but it’s better. and theoretically since it’s not doing the rendering you can hook up an external monitor plus m+k and it’ll still run well
FYI, to figure this out you would look at the part that plugs into the wall. there’s a bunch of writing on it. at one point it will say something like " input: 120-240 VAC, output: 15 VDC 0.5 A". that’s true for pretty much all transformer bricks. like if you want to see how much a USB brick will supply it will say on there “5V 2A” or whatever.
and fuck MS for needing the shift+rclick tip in the first place
as a backup. like when on a plane and my wireless ones die. or to plug into stereo aux
they get real flappy
and also has no predictions, which really slows it way down since you have to type out each long word the whole way through instead of just getting it to the point of uniqueness and clicking the suggestion.
in the actual sense or in the Todd Howard sense?
yes! I was shocked that was not a feature when I migrated over on mobile.
I mean, why not do that, from their perspective. Linux has been around for a long time and Windows still maintains market share. They don’t feel threatened at this point, so might as well have the explanation of how to install Linux be a subtle ad for Windows.
Are those dots cars?
For the record, it’s toast.
It gets recognized by my computer as something, but it can’t read the drive and it is unable to be reformatted or anything.
Bummer, but lesson learned. If anyone out there has a Deckmate, be careful with putting the SD cards in the slots and then having it in the steam carry case.
Good call. Going to try with the expansion card thing it came with
Wow, they really pack that stuff in there. Truly is amazing that such a tiny little piece of tech is hundreds of MB!
I’ll try it in a normal-sized SD carrier card, but I think it’s probably toast.
Thanks for those images, super cool!
I suppose there’s no harm in trying to seal it up and give it a whirl
Can’t that be done with a steam link though?
I 3D printed some. I’m going to modify one so it slips over the Deckmate’s kickstand.
I assume there are buyable versions, although I didn’t find any in a cursory search just now
Kickstand of some kind is really nice. And the belly stand things make it more comfortable to play laying down. Nice simple additions, but useful in the day to day
For a mobile platform, I’ll take the agility over the storage capacity and longevity. But to each their own
yeah, but you can carry it with you at all times if your phone takes an SD card.
although, can they use one that large, or is there some restriction?
