I don’t see the announcement
Seriously… nasty.
I’ve always called it “woshushtustuh” sauce
Switch is an absolute last resort. It only comes out when an exclusive drops, and the exclusives are only played if the switch can actually run them properly.
I haven’t played TOTK yet because of the performance woes.
I’ll take that as a compliment
Nothing wrong with it, but I’m biased
I swear people on 4chan speak a different language. I can never follow what’s going on on that site and it makes me feel like a dirty diaper trying to decipher their hyper-online dialect.
Does playing devils advocate really make you an asshole?
You can say just about anything with the correct phrasing and it can come off polite.
That’s a little to belittling, imo. I want to enable other people to explore different possibilities, but I don’t want to put them down for their beliefs.
Even if someone’s beliefs are harmful, confrontation and belittlement will just make them double down, methinks.
When the topic comes up, I keep it short and sweet: “to me, religion is just crowd control”.
Thank you for bringing humor to an otherwise bleak post!
This cuts too deep
It’s an interesting quandary.
There is an inherently higher quality to posts and comments in smaller communities. It’s something many people value.
People flock to the high-quality offerings, and as a result, the quality decreases.
Is there a way to get the best of both worlds, whilst still maintaining A “free speech” ethos?
Typically, enforcing quality standards requires heavy and overbearing moderation that makes the interactions feel artificial.
^ if you can crack that code, you’d be sitting on a goldmine.
That bean thing was played out in a few hours
They still suffer from a corporate mindset, unfortunately. Salvation Army, too, although that’s not mentioned here.
Boston baked bean boy
Video airplay is just inherently flawed, it seems.
I dug into some forums to try and find a solution to this, and I was able to find a few theories, none of which completely alleviated the issue for me.
Most of them centered around the wifi signal.
If you have a lot of other devices pinging Wi-Fi between your phone and the TV, this can allegedly cause disconnects and de-syncs.
If your wifi is slow, this can allegedly cause disconnects and de-syncs.
If you live in an apartment and your wifi channel is being hugged by other residents, this can allegedly cause disconnects.
I want to re-enforce the notion that none of this fixed the issue for me, but it might be worth going through the motions to see if it does for you, because some people were saying they had success after addressing these issues.
For streaming off of sites, I have actually had resounding success using my LG tv’s web browser. Connect a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The browser actually has a built in adblocker. You still have to deal with link redirects occasionally though.
