Have a great day.
I think I’ve just found my next watch. It looks more useful than my current Fitbit Versa. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I don’t understand it, but going through various githubs, the problem has been discovered. Here it is:
YouTube changed their code to make it more difficult to extract the throttling parameter decryption function.
There was some coding demonstrating the problem but it was way over my head. Hopefully fixes are coming soon as the issue was marked as urgent. It looks like they know what needs changing.
Having used PowerAmp since Android 1.5, I switched to Musicolet last year and it does the job just as well. It’s not open source but it proudly claims that it has no network permissions, so it cannot send any data anywhere.
Even though I paid for Nova years ago, I went back and downloaded a modded version of 7.0.58, the last version before they were bought out and the code was changed.
I really wanted to like Lawnchair but I always end up back with Nova. It does exactly what I want it to.
I discovered this after giving up on the BBC weather app because it wants me to sign in.
It’s been really good, I love the details and it’s been getting regular updates. Recommended.
That’s the problem. I think Amazon have been locking the device down. Rooting maybe the only way if that’s still possible.
We have a standard 4K stick and yesterday I looked into replacing the launcher. Unfortunately it seems that Amazon have stopped users from accessing ADB or an ADB shell making it almost impossible to customise it. It may still be root-able but I wasn’t that desperate to change it.
I’ve settled on Thunder. The only downside is that they haven’t implemented replying to direct messages yet, you can only view them but apart from that, it’s good.
The problem is, several publishers don’t want to pay Nintendo for the larger storage cartridges. Many Switch games only have part of the game physically and you have to download the rest.
Diabolo III made a point of saying the whole game was on the cart for example.
New name, old icon. 😁 I’ll see how I get on with this keyboard. It’ll stop me relying on gifs from Gboard. 👍
I’ll give this one a go. I was on PowerAMP for years ever since I got my first Android phone, a HTC Hero on Android 1.5! Recently I changed to Musicolet. I don’t think it’s open source, but it is privacy focused, as it doesn’t have any features that access a network.
Well, initial impressions were good but on my phone, the toolbar at the bottom was underneath the android navigation buttons. I’ll report it in the lemmy community.
I, too, loved LiftOff! but the developer had twins and, understandably, that seemed like the end.
But I’ve fallen for Thunder! Dare I try another?
This card has two drawbacks as far as I can see. Firstly, there’s no loader to swap between games.
Secondly, it only supports its own format when you back up your own games. The games you download from the net aren’t compatible but it’s assumed the pirates would ‘repack’ their past releases to be compatible.
Here’s a question, would the Switch be oblivious to how the game is stored and download any updates? Do pirated games come complete with the latest available updates?
I finally got it working, I was using the wrong URL which I had to use on another app.
Quite like this, looking forward to the update.

Does this app still work with FreshRSS, I can’t get it to login into my account.
Thanks for the update!
I use this on edge and I was going to switch to Firefox but the extension has been removed from the store.
VLC is all you need for DVDs. You just need to download this file, unzip it, and put the DLL file into the same directory where VLC is installed.
This file will enable VLC to access the DVD in such a way to bypass the protection methods.
