2718·6 days agoI truly couldn’t give a single solitary fuck what opinions the devs of software I use have, no matter what that opinion is. As long as they’re not trying to shove that opinion down my throat via their software, their opinions literally have no effect on me whatsoever. You either, whether you want to believe that or not.
Where I live, car inspections have never been a thing. Some cities in my state mandate emissions tests, which I think include a basic inspection. Nothing at all in my county. Just pay to re-register it every year.
Couldn’t give two shits. It works better than the open source alternative you listed. I’ll stick with the tool that works best.

And slow as shit. WizTree takes maybe 10 seconds, whereas Windirstat will take several minutes.
The driver consumes a few KB. The bullshit software that you don’t need to install is what’s consuming the GB.
Xfinity likely wouldn’t allow you to use it at this point. They’ve been pushing people toward 3.1 for a while now, and won’t register a new 3.0 modem.

Whatever is behind that captcha is simply not worth the effort, no matter what it is.
The device can just connect to whatever wifi network the tablet is connected to. There’s no reason to “share the wifi connection”.
I use pirate IPTV to watch sports, primarily baseball. I refuse to sub to cable just to watch baseball, when the other 99% of channels I’d never once turn on. I haven’t subbed to cable in over 15 years, and never will again. Also cut my Netflix sub once they started losing content during the streaming wars. Never again. IPTV + Plex for me.
