memes dunking on mint are irrelevant. use what works for you & ignore the noise.
personally, mint lmde, based on debian, might be worth a once over. sounds like the stability aspect might be up your alley.

mojeek has been pretty cool so far. been using it on & off a few weeks now.
Established with a commitment to user privacy, Mojeek operates its own crawler-based index, setting it apart from search engines that rely on third-party search results, such as those from Google or Bing. Unlike many mainstream search engines, Mojeek does not track, profile, or personalize search results, ensuring an unbiased and transparent search experience for its users.
graphene os looking more & more attractive every day
sam altman & his goons, check.
leaving your phone at home is extreme?? wtf.
i agree w most of this. how do you expect to help convince others that privacy is important in this day & age if you’re being a turd bc you feel superior to someone that is just starting out? being civil & helpful doesn’t cost anything. i guess being toxic doesn’t either but that won’t help anyone move fwd to a better place of privacy.
how easily we forget about our beginnings in the privacy realm.
cast it into the fire!
haha, same here! definitely learned a lot from lemmy communities, so welcome!
grapheneOS is a de-googled os based on android. the funny thing is that it’s supported by mostly google phones, haha!
you can find all the info here & definitely keep asking questions in the tech & privacy communities:
can you expand on the guys being rough & brutal? can’t find anything about that in a search.
