You make it sound like you think he has morals, lol
It’s not cognitive dissonance if you can’t remember what your values were to begin with.
I too would like an answer to this. I started on a much smaller, more local instance, but it would always crashing as soon as I started scrolling. Like every single time I used it. Switched to .world and it’s never happened once.
No one is pretending that, certainly not the person you responded to.
I didn’t
Wait, we got a Future Crimes Division? I didn’t know .world was run by a bunch of milky precogs…
Christians? They’re pretty baked in to the American system, good luck excising that tumor.
I’ve never met a Muslim that wanted to kill three quarters of society, but that’s the only kind of Nazi you could ever possibly meet. It’s kind of their only thing. Tolerance of intolerance only leads to more intolerance. It’s why people who are lactose-intolerant should avoid lactose. Society is, by nature, Nazi-intolerant, Nazis make society shit itself.
They’re not defending their beliefs, they’re defending their right to exist. It’s the same thing they do for Christians and Jews and Buddhists etc etc etc.
See? I told you you wouldn’t get it.
Those people are defending non-extremist Muslims, not all Islam. There’s a huge difference, though I don’t expect you to grasp it based on the general level of ignorance you’ve displayed thus far.
Leftists are largely non-religious, rightists are the religious fanatics.
It sounds progressive, but the immediate and long-term effects are only regressive, so no, it’s not.
Tell me again how voting third party is the progressive thing to do…
You’re describing users without basic knowledge.
This is pretty big news, I would think it would be relevant in way more than just one article, time to do some updating.
First they came for the arugula and I did not speak out because arugula is meh. Then they came for the sprouts and I did not speak out because sprouts are whatever. Then they came for the me and my onions and there was no one left to speak for us…because they all had food-borne illnesses.
One major problem I never hear anyone talk about is that each of the people who want to vote third-party want to do so for very different reasons, often at political extremes. Which is why there’s no “third party” but a bunch of very different tiny parties with very different goals and no electoral pull. So even if you convince every undecided/independent/major party hater voter in the country to vote third party, their votes will never coelesce under any one party enough to make any difference. Of course it all leads back to winner-take-all and first-past-the-post, which are the real enemies of truly representative democracy.
That’s why I always keep my petard pointing away from me.
