The less you know about your history, the easier it is to imagine you’d always be on the right side of it.

About fucking time
The increase in energy consumption globally is still bigger than the increase of energy production from renewables. When this happens, hopefully soon, we will start seing reductions in fossil fuel, and especially oil, cosumption. The adoption of EVs will increase further as soon as bettery cosy falls further, wich is expected in the next few years due to increased supply of lithium and thecnologiasl breakthroughs in EV energy mangement
Lets cross our fingers
NextCloud and BitWarden. But that’s a project for later down the road. Local and Foss all the way
Thank you for the suggestion.
I’m planning on buying an AMD GPU later this year and then, I’m planning on installing Linux on my Desktop since Windows 10 will not be supported.
Thanks for the advice.
Already bought a VPN subscription with PIA and also setup a private DNS with cloud-flare on my android smartphone and tablet. Will look into the PC settings later.
I LL take a look into Mullvad later as well since I saw it’s a fork of Firefox which makes it a very interesting prospect.
That won’t be necessary, because I completely uninstalled it and it’s not connected to the network anymore

edit: formating
Thankfully I could use my Plex “streaming service” to have all the Pokémon seasons in one place
this is a video that everyone has to watch, and keep watching until it goes viral
I know that unfortunately it’s not going to happen.
I also know that there are numerous NGOS and less fortunate people who could really take advantage of using a pc and use it for a good cause or just enjoy it.
I also realise that there is a great number of students, even in the developed world, who could use a laptop for school and fun as well by running Linux.
instead of throwing the hardware away it could be repurposed.
Also i could use a couple of new old pcs to build a NAS for local cloud and jellyfish as well as a Batocera based emulation console for my living room.

“I hate so fucking much how little customer service companies are allowed to have”.
It’s not a mater of how much customer service they’re allowed, rather than how much they choose to have. In most cases they choose to have close to none because it’s more profitable for them, so its in the best short term interest of their share holders. And yes, in most corporations, long term is thex quarter
It’s not an apples to apples comparable situation. Pun intended!

if you’re using a desktop, try Firefox with the Ublock origin and SponsorBlock Addons. On Android either try the above or use Re Vanced.
proton mail is indeed very good
A bit of info about an “experiment” on the subject https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Popeye
I also use Nvidia GPUs on Windows. The thing is that They tend to have driver issues on Linux.
I’m also very disappointed with the closed architecture of their software, their recent price hiking in Europe and the fact that they stop supporting older GPUs
TL’DR. I don’t have a bad experience on Windows. At the same time it’s hard to switch to Linux, they dont have open source drivers and they don’t have long term support for their products by turning them obsolete through software
Hi, Your dedicated local Secret Service agent here.
We don’t need your smartphone to access your data. We have surveillance equipment for that. That is why we can scan the qr code of your ID app and do the checks we need.
If you want us not to track you, you need a degoogled smartphone and use cash exclusively. Also you could use a vpn while you browse the interwebs, but we ll still be, eventually, able to see where you browse.
BTW we don’t stop randomly ppl on roadblocks. You or your car or your route or all of the above was of concern for us.
