Reminds me of when Eric Cartman’s Mom has to get him presents on Kyle’s birthday so he doesn’t throw a tantrum.
Just a guy. Just a fella. Subject to say silly stuff.

Shit, you’re right!
I second this opinion. The parties responsible absolutely need to be held accountable but due to the severe nature of the crime you absolutely have to protect yourself.
My devices are cringely named after songs in Haken’s discography.
Desktop is MESSIAH. Laptop is AFFINITY. Phone is NIGHTINGALE. Steam Deck is SHAPESHIFTER. Router (and its WAP) is PORTALS. My NAS is the only one that falls outside of this, it’s generically (last name)NetNAS. I should rename it, but I don’t want to break anything 😅
Eta: changed my NAS’ hostname is ARCHITECT. Nothing broke! Yay for me.
Or that other cybertruck. Or the other one. Or that other one…
New York doesn’t have the death penalty though?
I just got a deck last week and I’m loving it so far. Been playing Castle Crashers again (here’s hoping the new update comes out soon!) as well as Baldur’s Gate 3 with my wife, which runs incredibly well surprisingly.
Very glad this guy is one of my gubernatorial choices! 😊
(/s, duh. NC gang vote Stein.)
Did they at least play Cool for Cats?
(This is the only song of theirs I know)
Is that a snake in your trousers or is that a snake in your trousers or is that a snake in your trousers or
I had a similar experience on my laptop. I tried Ubuntu which broke after trying to throw on Nvidia drivers (using the official docs). I tried Mint and Debian, both of which couldn’t detect my laptop’s wifi card (after hours of trying to fix - apparently a common issue but the fixes did not work for me!). I landed on Fedora, worked great. I’m now on EndeavourOS, but Fedora was the stepping stone I needed.
My desktop I built recently is Bazzite, which is Fedora based and I love it.
What are some alternatives? I’ve heard Tidal is one of the better ones. I’m not necessarily opposed to piracy/ripping my CD collection + self-hosted streaming, but if I can pay someone else for the convenience I’d rather do that.
Do any services have a comparable family plan too?
Metallica spearheaded the movement against the music sharing platform Napster back in the day. Lars Ulrich in general was a big opponent of music piracy. (Although, apparently he has since chilled out a bit).
He’s also just not a good drummer.
I guess he’s not that bad, all things considered. Just don’t like the guy.
Wow, a single example of someone over 70 who was (probably) not voted into office in one of the worst regimes humanity has ever known.
I guess that sure is an unpopular opinion.
Hell, I wish my downloads took money directly from him. He sucks.
Governments can already subpoena chat companies (Facebook Messenger, Discord) for records. Imagine what they’ll get if they just have your desktop and they suspect you of wrong think.
Got any tips or tidbits for Nobara? I’m heavily considering installing it onto my new PC when I build it in a week. I’m a noob at Linux but it seemed perfect for everything I’m looking to do on my PC.
There are active KKK chapters in NC. There is also a Proud Boys presence here (they’re known to wear masks).
I wonder, will they be exempt from this? (I know the answer, of course. Republicans will protect their own.)
I have no clue why you’re being downvoted so much. I understood exactly what you were trying to convey and I agree with you.
This is where I’m at: a Synology running a few services like Plex for my family and friends. I’m hoping to learn more and help us all move from walled gardens even further. Some of Synology’s software can feel a little clunky to use but generally I’ve found it to work great despite my limited knowledge.
