Ah the ol’ Kingsmen ending.
Ah the ol’ Kingsmen ending.
This is where I’m at. The Framework guy was talking about how very few companies are using this AMD deal because the R&D to add it to existing models wasn’t very viable, you really only have the Asus Z13 so I feel like being ahead of the game there will be a benefit in the long run as far as their relationship with AMD. Plus they’re also doing a 12-in laptop now as well, so it’s not like they committed all their resources to this.
This is usually because they’re using a common VPN service. I’ve found that connecting to Ireland gets me past this prompt more often than not, but that likely won’t last long.
As someone earlier mentioned, unihertz has a few models with physical keyboards.
I know it needs to maintain the Wiki name for branding purposes, but WikTok meshes better.
Might not be your cup of tea, but Dual Core has a song called For Aaron that’s a dedication to him.
HBO does this too, I’ve been told they get away with it because it’s a trailer not an ad, as though there’s a difference, but mate, I’m already watching Star Trek, you don’t need to suggest I watch Star Trek.
Hulu has always had a clause like that. Their ad-free tier has always had a handful of shows that have an ad at the beginning and end, which is why I don’t pay for the ad-free tier and just use NextDNS.
If they could get it under $400 I wouldn’t be surprised if they had tried that, kinda like those toy squares similar to tamagotchi that you could attach to each other so the sprites could interact. Or digivices, give me holographic digimon brawls.
It feels like the Humane AI Pin in that it’s kind of neat, but there’s probably already something out there that’s cheaper and safer from a privacy perspective.
Just wait till holographic displays are a thing, then we can have Cortana or Clone Wars Ahsoka on it as though we’re actually in those respective universes.
Between that and telling Canada they should become a state, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some manifest destiny v2 trying to conquer the continent.
Waze is owned by Google now so it basically is maps now just with a different skin and some better features.
I’ve been using Deezer since Tidal dropped Plex support. So far the library seems to be the same as Spotify, at least I wasn’t missing too many songs when transferring my Spotify playlists in.
I like the built-in song identifier and radio station support. The song quizes are a little gimmicky, but kinda fun. I probably haven’t used it enough for recommendations to get me down, but so far nothing crazy has popped up there.
I’m not sure if it’s just my phone, but every couple days when I first launch the app, I need to close and reopen it to get it to load, my desktop app constantly throws up a banner saying the app is offline, but it doesn’t actually effect functionality, so it’s just annoying more than anything.
Not really a work around, but you could get a VOIP number from MySudo or Hushed or a similar service and use that to sign up for Signal. Might at least be more private if you go about it with like a prepaid card and temp email or something.
I’m not sure if this would work, it would definitely be more of a hassle if it does, but can you install Veeam B&R community edition and use it’s agent to do a backup, or does that really only work on VMs?
The ‘nothing to hide’ argument seems a lot like that ‘first they came for socialists and I did not speak out, because I was not a socialist…’ quote. Sure you have nothing to hide right now, but what happens when something you weren’t hiding becomes a target.
Are you referring to the sheriff, or the lady who called 911 for seemingly no reason. Honestly, if that lady was a local, I’d probably want to keep an eye on her cuz she probably calls in every little thing trying to get people in trouble. Had a neighbor like that.
I used it for songs that weren’t on Tidal when I transferred playlists from Spotify. I found quite afew that I liked that Tidal didn’t have. Now that that’s gone I’ve moved to Deezer and am filling out my Plex server separately.
Not the best solution, but I use a free Spotify account and IFTTT to pull a list of songs added to certain Spotify playlists, like the new rock one, to a Dropbox TXT file to find new bands. Takes some effort, but let’s me see what’s coming out.
