I’d assume one needs to verify the email by clicking a link, so to spam [email protected], [email protected] would mean you need access to those inboxes. That means you need to go through the effort to actually create those emailadresses on whatever freemail service you chose, or you need to host the emailserver yourself and have all mails run into a catchall inbox.
Hosting your own emailserver is definately not “basically no extra effort”, even for a lot of tech-savvy people, paying for a hosted email service using your own domain is easier, but also seems like not a good investment just to spam a petition website.

The [email protected] functionality, however, is pretty well known tool - even by non-tech savvy people. Even some people I know that I consider basically tech-illiterate have known this for years, they have told me when they found out about it and asked me if I was aware of this functionality.

The first one I mentioned requires preparation, setting up email accounts or an email server, the second one is basically already set up for most email users and ready to go, the latter is therefore definately a lot less effort to pull off.

There are companies selling “gaming pillows”. Don’t fall for the gamer tax, though, IKEA will sell you a breastfeeding pillow called LEN for a fraction of the price, which is essentially the same thing.

Yes, I’ve also crosschecked with using 11ac only mode with reduced channel width, but the steam deck would still lose connection frequently.

Only when I combined it with mixed network mode, would connection be stable.

Also note, that none of my other devices (tablet, phone, quest2) had any issues with 11ac/80MHz, only the steam deck was unstable.

I bought a few books off audible, and while I can still access them even without a subscription, I still have them converted to mp3 on my NAS, in case I ever lose access to audible for some reason.

I fondly remember the old opera days, up until the latest presto version, 12.18. If you knew what you were doing, you were able to fully customize the entire browser, all of it’s toolbars and context menus, it was incredible.

Once they switched over to the Blink engine, all of that was lost. It’s entire USP gone, just like that.

I’ve tried Opera 2 or 3 years back, just to see what it is like, and it’s just another pointless chromium based browser, offering nothing to keep me using it, and the more i see posts and ads from this company, the more I feel like I made the right choice.

I’ve also tried the “spiritual successor” to Opera 12, Vivaldi, but it too couldn’t win me back over from Firefox.

Downloading via a 2.4GHz wifi set up on the same dd-wrt router seems to be more stable, but also a lot slower.

When downloading via desktop mode, when the connection drops out, I can not access any website using the browser. It seems as if there is an issue with the wifi driver when using 5GHz wifi.

Other steam clients (my PC) are not affected by this, but it’s connected to the router via ethernet.

Storage is not full, it’s a 256Gb Steamdeck with a 512Gb SD card. The internal storage has about 15Gb of free space, the SD card about 30Gb

You do have multiple rooms at home, do you not? Why not buy another one for the bathroom?
