The only connection the TV has is hdmi. I do not think that back and forth communication is possible there.

If the TV has wifi, it can do its thing but that would also be easy to disable.

It’s a Chinese one that I used at first for retro gaming with emuelec. Now it is dual boot and I have kodi and newpipe on it too.

I am a bit puzzled about the “even when your laptop is connected” part.

I have a small android box connected to it and am not using apps on the TV so it should have no chance of sending screenshot out even if it takes them.

Did some companies really go back to the office100%? We sure did not, going to the office is more of a social thing, maybe for all hands meetings, customer presentations and that kind of stuff.

The company wins because they can have a shiny office in the city that does not need to have workplaces for all employees but maybe 20% of them at a time.

The meta rebranding is not as evil as the hostile takeover of Twitter. So I am inclined to accept that name change but I do not know really what using meta means.

I don’t use FB, if I did I would still say FB. I use WhatsApp and I don’t call that meta. I guess the individual products just keep their names here.

Exactly this has to have happened several times where are all the others fired for this?
