Basically seems to come down to techies being mostly left winged more frequently which makes up the vasg majority of Lemmy.
I don’t miss the global echo and it’s kinda nice to read civil discussions or talks.
Though i dont really focus too much on the political topic or consider people such to make it my concern when I read.
Just generally enjoy the good talks, advice and things like I remember how the internet started when it also had 0 political interest.
This sounds nice, thanks for that information.
How do you know stuff is particularly “unsupported” on a same os but different build? Other then errors of course?
In my head it is the same os just different blend so wonder why it wouldnt work. Reckon maybe some missing system components. Though can copy those over?
Anyway was curious if you knew! Thanks
No, just familiarity what you’re sold on.

I like the platform but to be flushed with ads and pay more ceo salary versus creators like yourself, I rather choose to support those I enjoy my entertainment from. Of course realistically A VERY difficult thing to do. I like the idea of Jaybird and Floatplane to an extend. It’s just that if I was more settled with life, i probably could afford it finely but its not that high on my worthy things list.
