I mostly agree about the Muppets, I don’t really see the appeal and have never found any of their media all thay interesting.

HOWEVER

The Christmas Carol is the one exception, I don’t like it because it’s Muppets, but it’s beautiful music and honestly heartwarming storytelling.

I thought it would be a clickbait title… But… No.

That is seriously their plan. What an absolute failure of health and safety.

That it would drastically harm queer people and those questioning their identity. Social pressure, fear and shame keeps people from asking certain questions or exploring their desires when it’s potentially tied to them for life.

Look at the while concept of “queer appropriation” by celebrities. Their entire life is public and ironically while feeling themselves out and experimenting with new presentations, it’s ironically met with backlash from some queer people thinking it’s a capitalist ploy to appeal to queer fans.

Being able to just ask questions and explore is a fundamental part of understanding yourself. Anonymity is a precious gift, but one that is also easy to take granted.

Tesla full self driving is no where close to ready and actively dangerous to any one around it, including and especially the occupants. But the autopilot is pretty convient and useful. I wish they would stop calling these patches “recalls”, it’s turning the term meaningless.

I mean this is the same Ubisoft franchise that snuck in Denuvo as a day one patch. It’d be funnier if it weren’t so upsetting that nothing will change and the game industry will keep chugging on.

What does it matter to you how anyone perceive themselves or the world around them? They still deserve respect. You’re allowed to think whatever you want about others, but using what you perceive as illness as a reason to mock or belittle them then that’s just active cruelty. In your A or B scenario, both of those situations are someone deserves respect and that you yourself don’t need to concern yourself with. Who tf cares if they feel special? Good for them. Besides, if you really want to get in to the philosophy of it. Where exactly is the “you” in your body? We are all a collection of living cells that are controlled by a not yet entirely determined part of thr brain. Sure parts of the brain can be damaged and that causes personality changes, but where the “you” in you truly resides is hard to say. Sounds like a swarm to me.

Essentilism is a philosophy use without realizing, but it is also a inherently immposible to prove concept, and saying “X is absolutely and only X” really doesn’t allow for the messiness that is the world, or the human experience. If they are happiest as a swarm. Well rock on!
