Please don’t start with that again. PC master race is a perfectly fine name and I’m glad they didn’t change it. I’ll just have to make another account.

It’s as if it was only yesterday that I watched him flip nvidia off.

I kinda noticed the first one, but didn’t think it had anything to do with taking offense. The second one I haven’t noticed at all as well as the third one (the third one is especially bullshit in my opinion).
My God, this is still going on. I’m still having trouble comprehending whether this is just a very elaborate parody. The term “master race” is not in any way offensive and even if it is (to a small amount of people) they are perfectly within their right to be offended, but not to ban other people from using it.
I mean, they are. PCs are superior to a console in every way except the price point. Consoles shouldn’t even exist in this day and age, the only reason they do is because of exclusives, all the bullshit around PC parts and more recently bad PC ports.
How effective are VPNs at preventing this? I’ve heard it recommended the most as a counter measure.
I mean proton is available in the AUR last I checked. Also, couldn’t you just use the “add non-steam game” option in steam? I’ve heard it does sometimes block pirated games, but it wouldn’t hurt to try
So true! Here, have some internet points and validation!
I’ve used only ublock for a while and haven’t had any issues with sites detecting adblock. Heck, even with the recent youtube debacle I still block ads on yt and haven’t noticed any of the things people are complaining about. Though, I have youtube enhancer as well which also blocks ads.
I see your point, but context matters. The title is saying: “PCs are a superior kind to consoles (and macs)”. Saying that a certain type of technology is superior to another is absolutely okay, even though the same can’t be said for people. Banning certain phrases in spite of the way they’re used will do more harm than good to us in the long run. Additionally, people who constantly get so worked up about the usage of these phrases and words are the same ones who grant them the enormous power they hold over us.
