I used to get offended by defaced & graffitied currency, but then an older family friend pointed out that these people print it off like crazy. At our expense. And tax-rape the ever-loving fuck out of us, for everything. And proceed to waste OUR money they stole on random bullshit and ruin our lives. So maybe I shouldn’t take currency so seriously.

If it doesn’t make dollars, it doesn’t make sense. That’s why the electric car movement is having a hard time really taking off rn; it is hard to justify & all the tech, all our builds, aren’t exactly super economical yet. And they’re not built for tough conditions, heavy towing, long commutes, and easily workable & recyclable components.

…but things are, indeed, getting better. If you look at it from a macro view. Lithium recycling can be done even a decade ago, but IIRC it was relatively small scale & the lithium could be refreshed “most of the way”, not fully. The right things will catch on when their time is right & its viability is realized.

Man’s greatest strength is our shared knowledge, technology, science, and innovation. I encourage you to make good decisions in your personal life and be positive. 🙂

Correct. 🙂 Reminds me of when I wanted new tires & I was complaining about how some tires were rated for a criminally short life. I wondered which ones lasted the longest.

The mechanic then remarked that sure, they can make tires that last a hell of a long time & never puncture. But the ride would be so terrible because the tires would be tough, stiff, would work your suspension harder, and it would cost a fortune to boot. It’s not worth it. There are multiple material, usage considerations when making a product. Really makes you appreciate the experts in their various fields.

Basically, AFAIK, eagles can hunt fish from the sea. They eat other birds & various creatures. They look majestic AF & their eyes are amazing. But they’re not the most intelligent birds around.

They also eat a lot of roadkill, carrion, trash. So looks aside, bald eagles are kind of disgusting. But hey. Something has to clean up trash…and if the bald eagles will eat rotting carcasses… technically that is being useful.

I just removed that in my Google Messages app today. And just now in SwiftKey. I guess it came packaged in an update. It’s annoying, I never asked for it, just one day it started suggesting them in the autocorrect. Dumb.

I am on the right, and yes, he’s right-grifty AF. Always has been. I’m sure my opinions on KR wouldn’t be received well on Lemmy (not that I care too much), but we’re probably in agreement here: …why is this little boy relevant? 🤨 Like why should he be a ‘thing’, years later? I was watching some YouTubers & KR was there for some reason, and they were waiting in anticipation “to see which college he’d choose!! 😍” they had 2 hats & he was going to grab one, put one on & I’m just like GUYS…I.
