Also the sleep function on Steam Deck is pretty good. I bring mine to work and grab some offline playtime during my 15 minute breaks, and sometimes during my 30 min lunch after i eat. No Man’s Sky is chill and easy to pickup/putdown, Minecraft as well. I’m sure other titles would work as well.

Sometimes I also add a folding bluetooth keyboard, mini bluetooth mouse, and USB drives, but that’s only when I’m gonna use the Deck as a computer for 3D modeling or typing tasks.

I have nothing against the original, I used it for a few months and it works great. I switched to a different case when I got a different charger and other cords to use with the external battery I added to the ‘entourage’ for the Deck. The original case didn’t have the room for all that, and things like earbuds didn’t like to stay in the elastic hollow of the original. Wasn’t a big deal, but it was a noticeable change after switching cases.

Buy a nice case for transporting it. I like my JSAUX case, it has alot more storage space then the stock case.

Won’t work in the US, A.D.A. compliance would shut it down. Can’t expect someone disabled with leg weakness to be able to use that design.

Beat Saber will remain available to purchase via PS Store for the foreseeable future and players will continue to have access to content that they purchased. All songs and music packs released prior to June 18 will be playable, but PS5 and PS4 owners won’t be able to play any new content released after this date.

Beat Saber will continue to be updated on Steam, however, which many players are taking as a sign that PSVR, PSVR2 support is on its last leg.

I actually haven’t used anything that makes use of the Deck microphones yet, do they work well for this?

Go into desktop mode, open the menu and use the search function to look for “Nested Desktop”. Now right click and add that to Steam. When you boot into Game mode, you’ll see a new item added called Nested Desktop, which you can open to access desktop mode while still in game mode. I found out about this a week ago and so far I use it most for referencing my digital game guides or searching NMS portal codes while still gaming.
