To my recollection Trump had DOGE actions covered under the Presidential Records system so they are classified for a number of years and not allowed to be requested by FOIA requests until that time passes. The game Avowed just pulled this “advanced release” bullshit, pay $20 more and get access a few days early. Had they simply released the game I’d have bought it, but after seeing that I said fuck you I’ll find it another way and honestly I’m glad I did. As one review put it: it’s aggressively “meh.”

They’re also admitting that they don’t teach anything about LGBTQ+ at all in any realm. Not health class, civics, history, art, nothing.

To add a tiny bit to what was already explained by Takumidesh: you do actually download quite a bit of data to run it locally. The “smaller” 14b model I used was a 9GB download. The 32b one is 20GB and being all “text”, that’s a lot of information.

Guys it’s just the eggs that they have to use in the streaming production factory. Every streaming uses a half dozen eggs to manufacture. It’s actually really expensive!

I’m not all that knowledgeable either lol it is my understanding though that what you download, the “model,” is the results of their training. You would need some other way to train it. I’m not sure how you would go about doing that though. The model is essentially the “product” that is created from the training.
