Very few details at this point. I’m interpreting this with a healthy dose of skepticism (and cynicism!).
Either way this is bad.
Either it’s real in some form and Canada is effectively extra cut off from Europe if it needs military support, and Europe has shown itself once again unwilling or unable to defend its interests.
Or it’s fake which means Trump is back on his bullshit and feels emboldened to apply even stronger pressure, going so far as to outright lie about the state of negotiations.
Or it’s a deal he’s misunderstood, at which point he now thinks he’s entitled to Greenland and Denmark disagrees.
No matter which it is, it’s bad.
