this is gonna be a very very short story compared to what happened, just so you know. if you dont know, linux btw is a discord server that was created after the owner of the previous server, all things linux, did some questionable things 😭 it was all sunshine and rainbows UNTIL the owner (i think) started adding people under the “summer shrimpin role” and then it basically snowballed from there. they flexed their wealth and called people poor, started really controversial topics for seemingly no reason and much more that i cant remember right now 😔 so i left and joined a NEW server called i use linux btw (this isnt my server, i just joined it for the sake of joining a linux server with the same vibe)
this isnt really linux related but MAN i just wanted to rant about ts 🥀

You can leave large discord servers and still use it to chat with your friends until you can convince them to move somewhere else.
ohh nah my friends wont even touch linux, so i can just leave whenever, pretty much all servers im in are just my interests so i can just leave at any time
